L-RAP is a software program intended for conducting regional frequency analysis using L-Moments for datasets comprised of measurements of the same phenomenon observed at multiple sites. L-RAP was initially developed for conducting analyses of climatic and water-resources data that are observed at multiple sites on a monthly, multi-month or annual maxima basis but the program may be used to analyze data from almost any source.
L-RAP utilizes the L-moment methods for conducting regional frequency analyses as described in the Hosking and Wallis Monograph; Regional Frequency Analysis, An Approach Based on L-Moments
